Sympatong Muay Thai Gym The head coach of the Pro-team in the foreground and my trainer looking at his phone in the background. I wish I had some images of him with his favourite bamboo stick, witch he used on many occasions to beat me when I did my routines wrong, after being hit with a hard bamboo stick a few times, one learns the routines.

Viking. My friend Ragnar Úlfdal exhausted after a training session, he is an Icelandic Pro fighter in Thailand. Competing in heavy weight he is there recovering from a broken arm that snapped almost in two in the midst of a fight (he kept on finishing the round tho), not his first broken bone, probably not going to be his last.

Generations of talent In the gym sometimes there are 3-4 generations of fighters. Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand and you really can feel it ingrained into the society.
